Everyone enjoyied the entertainment the night of the 23rd. Christmas dinner was very nice, I don't think we could have gotten another table in the hall, it was jam packed. December 19th

Merry Christmas everyone I hope you viewed my "Smile Box" on the Christmas Caroling from last night. Everyone seemed to have a fun time, my camera doesn't take the best pictures at night, the pictures were so dark. At the meeting this morning... Our mgr. Connie said that the Wrights are still doing lawns, she had said earlier they were not going to do them any more but it was evidently wrong information. She reintroduced our maintenence men, Omar and Alex. Then Irene presented each one with cards from residents and also gave them their box of goodies we all contributed to. Brock reminded everyone of the Christmas show the evening of the 23rd. $4.00 at the door and said they would be using the new lighting. Irene said a card will be sent for Norm and Catherine Gibbs who lost a Granddaughter in a car accident. She had sent some other cards that she had mentioned last week. Doris Davis thanked folks who sent cards when Paul went to the hospital. Martha Millender has a card she wants everyone to sign for Ione Alwin, former resident. The gals in charge of the Cancer walk are wanting more toy donations for the childrens cancer hospital, no stuffed toys. Christmas dinner is at 1:00p.m. the 25th, Dec. 31st is the New Years Dance, and party in the Pool Room. Jan 10th is the Hobo Day party at 4:30. "Super Nut" Rex is Chairing this event, each person coming in the door must have a hobo nickname and you will be addressed this way for the afternoon

Dec. 5th

Every time I go up tp the office I see more folks that have come in. Today I saw Carolyn Thomson, who just arrived last night and also Sally Hejlik who got in a couple days ago. Our weather for the coming week doesn't sound the greatest...highs in the low 60's upper 50's and lows in the 40's. But I have to remember this is our Winter and it isn't all that bad. Judy Nordquist is our chair now with Jan Philipp secretary. Connie gave a mgt report, she said the judging of the Christmas Lighting will be done the week of Dec. 15th. Also she reminded us that non resident visitors may come to regular events but cannot reserve or attend on their own. Scott came and got the computers in the office area working, and now someone said the Wi-Fi in the R.V. section is out. There was discussion on buying a new ice machine and The Park owner paying some of the cost. Irene Quail gave the Courtesy report and sent cards to Betty Aderton, back surgery, Jeanne Whites, Sister died, Vince Lange fell and broke his neck, in a brace, Dale Clark taken to hosp. breathing problems. Minnesota serving breakfast in Dec. need someone to Chair January.
