They're back!!!!

There were 2 to 4 Martins on their house going in and out the apartments all week, we were thinking they were the "Scouts" and would bring the other birds....well...Saturday morning at daylight I looked out at their house and I couldn't believe my eyes, there were atleast 25 to 30 birds on the house.
Later I counted 37 but I think there's more than that...Some were in the back perching on a wire.



I like to hear their chirping, some look to be young, maybe they were the ones born here last Summer and have returned.

Feb. 16th

We had a great Craft show.... this happens to be my tables. I understand they sold out all their home made pies and very little Sloppy Jo's left. It was fun meeting so many new folks who came to our craft sale Thursday.

Saw this on facebook today  I thought it was cute!

Today at the Monday morning meeting there was a Memorial Service for residents who passed away this past year.
The Mgrs. introduced the new Asst. Mgrs.Gordy and Denise Coopman.
cards sent this week were to Kay Henrikson and Nancy Stokwisz, Marvin/Doris Lindley, Mother died, Don Stockton Family, death of Don.
Breakfast this Saturday will be breakfast burritos, Ron and Kathy McAuley chairing.

What a gorgeous few day we have had. Love the "80's" temps. Nice to see folks enjoying the pool.
Our park owner was at the meeting this morning, Walter Piper. He encouraged folks to tell their friends about our nice park and invite them here. He said there would be an open house March 7th and 8th, serving hotdogs, coffee, soft drinks, beans, and cookie. Looking to put up another antenna for the Wi-fi. The new assistant mgrs. home will be near the front gate. there has been discussion about the size of dogs allowed in the park, he will check into this.
Properties still working on new counter top for the kitchen, and possibly a nicer sign at the entrance of the park.
Dance on Monday night is not very well attended, they need volunteers to help with the dances ,contact Ron Talbert.
Cards sent this week: Harvey and Anita Madsen, his Brother died, Chris Stephens, fractured upper arm, Mitze Hutchinson unable to come this Season, Billie and Bruce Wells, continuing with her Cancer treatments, Jewel Kruckman, hospital and Peg Bloom, moved to a Nursing Home.
Entertainment this Friday will be Ambassadors of Grace Gospel Show, cost is $3.00 pp, Potluck before the entertainment.
Thursday movie is "Ground Hog Day"
Serving French toast this Saturday for breakfast, chaired by Ron and Kathy McAuley.
