They're back!!!!

There were 2 to 4 Martins on their house going in and out the apartments all week, we were thinking they were the "Scouts" and would bring the other birds....well...Saturday morning at daylight I looked out at their house and I couldn't believe my eyes, there were atleast 25 to 30 birds on the house.
Later I counted 37 but I think there's more than that...Some were in the back perching on a wire.

I like to hear their chirping, some look to be young, maybe they were the ones born here last Summer and have returned.

Monday Jan. 19th

The new ER is right on Expressway 83 frontage road, grand opening Jan. 24th 9:00 to Noon
The new ER is now open...if you need emergency care, when you go there and they need to send you to a hospital you won't have to go through the emergency room but can go directly to a room.
The STHS ERs at Weslaco and Mission will feature:
  • 14 private treatment rooms
  • Emergency room trained physicians and nurses
  • Diagnostic imaging services: CT scans, X-ray, ultrasound, bone density, mammography
  • 24-hour lab services
  • Cardiopulmonary monitoring
  • Respiratory treatments
  • Intravenous medications and fluids
  • Ambulance bay
  • Direct admission to hospital bed, not hospital ER
  • On-site pharmacy
With diagnostic or lab appointments available on a same-day, walk-in basis, patients can get test results more quickly. An on-site pharmacy allows patients to pick up medications without having to make another stop on their way home.
“The STHS ERs are all about convenience and bringing quality care closer to the growing populations on both ends of our metro area,” says Jason Chang, CEO of McAllen Heart Hospital and an STHS ER project manager. “As neighborhood emergency care centers serving both local and seasonal residents, the Weslaco and Mission ERs will provide a convenient, comfortable atmosphere close to home.”

REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT WITH ER RESERVE

When you need care for a minor illness or injury, ER Reserve lets you request a time in any South Texas Health System Emergency Room — including the new ERs at Weslaco and Mission.
Use a computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone

Hill Billy Sock Hop

Sorry the only 50's sock hop back ground for my smile box is the record one where pictures I import are in a round frame, so the pictures I took of a large group or close up of 4 or 5 people had to be divided between 2 pictures, if you can understand what I mean...any way enjoy!
