January 6th

Yes it is only 40 degrees right now, and a cold North wind. But just wait a few days and it's to be 70's and up to 80 very soon
We had a great New Years Eve! The food was awesome, and music really nice, and games were so neat.
The hall was filled with card players and other games. Passing the grapefruit,( under the chin) and passing the carrot between the knees was hilarious! Also was amazed how well some could pitch a marshmellow!? lol

There are 4 cards up to sign:
Jack Bardon..heart problems, Arlene Lykken, fell, broke her hip, Rita Henningsen, a thinking of you card, she is now home, John and Marie Sylcord, John's Mother died, funeral is  Wed.

The Club website as mentioned previously is RVEWTC was created by Judi Dekoning, she asked if the club wants to maintain the site for $16.95 per month, more discussion next week. It's a neat site and probably would not need a blog like this one. As we would be doing double info.

The pancakes were so good Sat. morning. Thanks to Mark Wieners and friends! they will continue for the month of January

Aside from the regular street and park breakfasts,Craft/sewing class starts this Wed. at 9a.m. making earrings. Friday night potlucks start this week at 5p.m. Jan. 17th is the flea market, the 21st is the Iowa dinner, Jan. 24th blood profiles, Jan. 26th is RGV concert band, Jan. 29th Kansas dinner, Jan. 30th spagetti dinner

When Mary Lou gets her new computer I will be able to copy and paste the newsletter. Atleast that's the plan.
