MANAGEMENT REPORT – Managers Bob & Vickie Davis. No management report this morning, but Bob did leave a reminder to no longer deposit newspapers in the back of the hall. Each person is encouraged to recycle his own: There are bins on the corner of Texas and Business 83 and a complete Recyce Center by the Airport.

Properties report was by Ron Zoeller. who said quotes are in and final for the kitchen remodel. Work will be done over the summer with Ken Barnhart overseeing the project. The blood pressure cuff has been returned and is in file cabinet if anyone needs it.

Donna Perkins does greeting cards until end of April. Sign these in office area. Her phone number is 817-371-9730. If you know of someone needing a card due to illness or death of family member, contact her. Cards were sent to Stan and Jean Burkinshaw for the loss of a family member, Grant Harter, whose father passed away, and the family of Bob Miller (former resident) who passed away.
Therriens, Bobby Gabbert and committee are serving Saturday morning breakfasts in March .. biscuits, gravy & scrambled eggs.
Quick note from last week: The newspapers have been piling up and getting rather unsightly. Irene Quail stated that Philiip’s, Benson’s and Quail’s have in the past taken these to Mexico. She has expressed concern that they don’t care to go that far off the main street anymore. LaVerne will take the current pile to recycle… but please do not deposit any more papers in the back hall.

Ron Talbert reported the Dance Committee has some exciting new ideas for next year. Tables can be reserved and perhaps there will be more available in a ‘store’. Parking is being addressed. First dance will be January 4th, 2016 featuring Hitman. Volunteers are still needed!
Elections will be held next week for Chair and Vice Chair April through November.
Patti Shellito expressed thanks to the RioValley neighborhood for the assistance and support in the care of Harris. She included a brief background of care giving trial and responsibilities as well as reiterating how much better Harris does surrounded by friends.
Jan Philipp and her two daughters, Kelly and Kari, along with their families, wish to give a big THANK YOU to all the Rio Valley friends who helped with Gary’s Celebration of Life and were kind enough to make sandwiches, cookies, etc. The support and love of our little community is greatly appreciated!
NOTICE.. Newsletter editor will be gone part of March, so there was NO NEWSLETTER last week. Thanks to Judi DeKoning who has TRIED to take over the duties for March 23 edition. Get your notes to Judi at #67 .. it will help her greatly. Editor will try to do at least 2 more newsletters after that one on the 23rd.

Judi DeKoning has placed a tentative schedule of next year's activities/events on board in Friendship Hall. Residents can note any changes that need to be made.
Please note there is a sign up sheet in Friendship Hall for those who will be celebrating special Anniversaries next season (March 1, 2015 to March 1, 2016).

Don't forget Happy Hour at Friendship Hall every Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Bring snacks to share plus your choice of beverage.
All are invited to Thursday breakfasts, 8:00 a.m. at Fiesta Tex-Mex (this is weekly get-together).
Don't forget the Park Pizza Party this Wednesday at Peter Piper Pizza, 11:30 a.m. Bring your cup. This will be the last one for the season.

Barnharts have volunteered to chair Easter Dinner on April 5. Sign up sheet is in rear of hall. Bring dish to share & your table service. Ham and tea will be served.
Easter Bonnets will be the theme. Decorate and wear yours!
A barbecue grill will be built this summer with Ken Barnhart working on plans. This will hold all the steaks, chicken, chops, ribs, brisket, whatever you could ever want to grill! Park owner is paying for most of this. The awning is up and cement was poured this week.

The Clermont (Iowa) Campout is Aug. 2-9. Terry from SkipAway called recently just wanting to remind campers to give her a call to verify they plan to attend. Call her at 563-423-7338 or 563-380-0841. She's had a request from a group of 6 campers that would like spots in our circle .. but NO NO NO .. she said she has it saved for us. Just wanting to be certain we will be using all the spots. ?? Contact Bensons who host. We can get you phone numbers of motels in area if you don't have a camper & wish to join us. We do have a lot of fun!
