Ken and Sue are providing donuts in the morning!
There are a couple cards to sign, one to Lucy Johnson#93, her Brother passed away and one to Sharyl Krantz#63, her Mother died, also Augustin Torres#50, surgery, also a notice on the board that it's Ken Eshelman's 92nd birthday!
We had a nice turn out for Happy Hour last night, over 24 folks showed up.
The last few morning have been beautiful, low humidity and I even felt the need for a light jacket yesterday morning. This morning it was near 69 and will get pretty hot this afternoon. Possible some rain for Mon. or Tues. We never got a drop Thursday night when lots of places received a nice amount. It seems to skip us or fizzle out before it gets here. A brief shower and a few times where it just messed up the car with a few drops.
Around the park....
The guys have planted a couple Palms near the front of the office, they've been digging up that concrete where the horseshoe pits are, and no, no one will tell me what's going in there? Just went to get the mail and they're putting some new nos. on mailboxes that need them.
Monday for Memorial Day we are having hotdogs and all the trimmings, plus bringing a dish to share, I think Carmen and Diane Bernier are heading that with Darlene Bryant.

This pretty scene greeted me as I brought Heidi out for a walk this morning...

The yards here in the park are all looking very nice, the mowing people doing very good.

May 19th

We sure have a quiet park this summer, it's been hard just to get 4 to play Canasta! some tic playing in the evenings.

This morning Del and Bev Telfor provided the donuts. Del has been in the hospital, they still never figured out what his problems have been. Up and down temperature. Patty Lamp was in re-hab with hip problems, she's home and doing much better.
Bobby is doing really good following kidney stone removal.

There's a card for all to sign for our maintence man, (Roberto Ramos) Son, Michael, graduating from College.
Also a card for Mary Christianson, who fell and broke her arm in 2 places

Weather here has been hot and windy! High today, 95 and humid! We are in a drout here, but 50% chance of rain Sun. or Mon. Yards are so dry.
And as usual mornings and evenings are lovely.

Judy Dekoning is here for a week or so. she said it has been cold and rainy in Illinois.She was saying that the temperature one day was 46 and she had the furnace going and it was raining so....She had flying time to use up so decided to come down here for a visit!

May 12th

It's been a busy week for us. Bobby had his kidney stones removed and is really doing good!
Cards sent to:
Denny Argo had his back surgery and had a problem with being badly dehydrated but is doing good now
their Son is coming in and the Daughter left. Del Telfor is still in the hospital, infection from an unknown source , keeps spiking a fever. Mile Stensland's son-in-law, Doug Jensen died suddenly, he's Myla's husband.

I told you about Bosches Daughter Cathy being here and getting the mobile ready to sell, well, it was moved out the other day.Someone said it went to Magnolia Park. And also another mobile going out, the blue one at what I thought was 81 but don't know the no. of it, when you look down Citrus as you come in the park you can see it.

There's a sidewalk going in the pet area and concrete under 2 benches in the pet area.

May 4th

Painting of the big hall is almost done, it looks nice.
today the palm trees are being trimmed.
Roberto Ramos our maintenence man, Mother passed away yesterday , she was 89.

Cathy, Daughter of the Bosch's has been here cleaning out the mobile. She had a yards sale. We signed a thinking of you card for Bosches, they are in a nursing home.

Last Friday John and Irene Quail furnished donuts and this Friday Bobby and I are furnishing them.

Last night there were storm warnings for the Valley, some severe warnings, mostly high winds. Weslaco did not get any rain, only quite windy. this morning it was not even 60 degrees but will warm up to 82 to 85 no humidity! Just beautiful. Windy tho, of course.

Bobby has day surgery the 9th for kidney stones.
Nancy Argo is home and came to Happy Hour last night her Daughter is here but goes home Saturday. Denny has his back surgery coming up. They are trying to get some home health.

Today on my walk I came across a dead "Scarlet Taniger
