RVE CLUB MEETING –
Chair John Geer called the meeting to order.
Pledge to the flag and“God Bless America”was sung Meeting closed by singing club song, ”We Love Our Valley Home”.

Properties Report – Ron Zollar says we need to be more diligent about pouring grease down the sinks in the parks kitchen. They're looking into buying a commercial grease trap. Someone spoke about the lighting in the back card room not real good and Properties will look in to that.
He's taking recyclables over this Thursday. May drop them off at his home #153
Report from Managers Mgr. Dana said the office will close at noon today and open back up on the 2nd at the usual time

Brock Lange spoke on the upcoming Friday entertainment,
Jan. 4th “Helen Russell and Company”award winning show, playing country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Gospel, 50's – 70's. Impersonaters, audience participation, comedy to tickle your funnybone. $7.00 pp
Thusday night movies start Jan. 17th
Monday night dances begin Jan. 7th, ever popular “Country Roland” band, $6.00 pp
Helen Curtis asks we call 603-674-3869, if we know of someone needing card due to illness/death in family. Cards to sign are in office area. If you call her & leave message, leave name. A get well card for Cindy Shaffer, bronkitis, Jim Ales blood pressure issues, a card will go up for Tom Cassidy.Helen will be gone some taking a class for 2 weeks, so Sam will take your calls

Marilyn Mason and Lucy Johnson will be taking over the Entertainment next year!
Be sure to sign up for the blood testing, a clip board is on the back of hall.
Sue Barnhar t says the Sock Hop is Jan. 24th , started selling tickets this morning, tickets going fast, buy them from them at lot#276, or Ken's office, or at the Mon. morning meetings. Doors open at 5:15, kitchen opens at 5:30 serving $.25 hot dogs and $.10 cokes and chips. Decorate your table and win a prize, games, and great entertainment by Fred Goldsberry

Italian Dinner Crew

I sure forgot to put this picture in . These folks worked the Italian dinner , The Kunkels chaired the event. We all loved the Lasagna. they plan on doing it again next year. A great big thanks goes to those gals who baked all the Lasagna in their homes!

Brock Lange thanked Rex and Marge for helping with the entertainment. Rex took over for Brock with the arranging for the 58 children to come from the Cleckler Middle School, who sang, everyone enjoyied it. A big thanks to Sharon Barksdale for the childrens “goodie bags”

Brock said this will be their last year coming to the Valley.
He said to let someone else needs to step up and take over
Rex rexroad will not assist next year either.

Christmas Dinner – Ham and Cheesy Potatos furnished, also tea and coffee. Wear festive attire.

Bring a dish to share and your own table service, you may set up your table after 12p.m. today. Still needing some help, uncovering dishes, meeting for helpers in back card room today.

New Years Party begins at 6:00p.m. Card games, music, and fun. Bring finger food to share. Lunch served at 8:00 p.m. We need a Chair person for this!!!

Irene Quail said Mickey and Cheyenne (who has entertained here) will entertain at the Elks this Friday, the kitchen will be closed and folks can order pizza

Mary Norby thanked all the participants in the golf cart parade! They will do it again next year with an ugly Christmas Sweater theme.

Margaret Davis found a key on her driveway, claim in the office

Jerry McAnnich said Joyce put on a fantastic wine and cheese party for both the women and the men. Thanked her for doing a great job. Will need a new Chair for this next year.

Report from Managers Craig and Dana wished us all a Merry Christmas. The office is no longer issuing receipts for your rent, print ink very expensive. Your check can be your receipt. But those who wish one may get one. A Sattelite receiver to be placed in the 99 area so they will get internet service. If you need to put in changes in the phone book, make out a slip, give to the office. The office closed at noon today, open back up Wed. Check for pkgs. In the office

Irene Quail thanked Craig and Dana for taking over the managing of the park. She gave out the Christmas moneys to them and Asst. Mgrs. Also to Roberto and Jesse, they pick up their Christmas boxes today

Properties Report – Ron Zoller said they have taken down the shades in the kitchen, and was considering shutting off freezer and refrigerator, but folks said we use the

refrigerator quite often in the Summer, so it will remain on.

Craig Daves said again a big thank you to folks here for donating all the toys for the kids for Christmas and can still donate. Also money can be given for the cause in the Office

for them. Judges from out of the Park will judge the decorating of mobiles



Iren Quail said there's still boxes for folks to give food items for Jesse and Roberto, they were checked over and found some canned goods with expired dates, please only fresh food should be put in.

Golf cart and Caroling December 18th, decorated golf carts and festive attire is encouraged. Meet at the Hall at 5:00p.m. Leave at 5:30

Return for refreshments at 6:15 Please sign up if coming to the after party so they know how many refreshments to provide, even if you did not participate in the parade. Cookies and drinks are provided for al l to enjoy and celebrate the Christmas Season among friends.



A special thank you to the decorating committee for the lovely Christmas decorations, also thanks to the Kranyz for contributing to the decorations. Please do not set items in the windows or take any of the decorations!

Some sad news Tom Anderson passed away.




Also  my Canasta playing buddy, Ken Eshelman died Dec. 15

Ken had been in and out of the hospital

Thanks to Judy Dekoning for doing the newsletter this week. I took Bobby to Mexico for another Dental appointment, they are so busy over there now that we had to take this appointment. We have to go back next week also but it will be Monday afternoon.
We have had some beautiful weather but the next week looks kind of cold, upper 60's for highs
It looks like some really lovely Christmas decorations going up around the park! I will try to get some pictures.

Please pay attention to people in the Park; get license numbers when possible and REPORT to Management. There have been solicitors knocking on doors. NO SOLICITING IS ALLOWED IN THE PARK.

Again – Pick up waste from your pets!!

When coming in at night, stop to assure the gate closes after you and nobody enters who’s not supposed to be here. When leaving make sure nobody swings over from the entrance and comes in. There will be a park wide Christmas Decorating contest. Date/Details TBA

If you have a camper stored in A or B rows, please see Craig.

Maps, new rules of the Park, etc. have been put in all mailboxes. Please fill out and return the info form to the Office. New stickers are provided, but old ones are fine.

Thanx to the Elves for decorating the Office. Decorations are sparse and if you have extra, or ones to loan it would be appreciated.
