June 20th

As  you probably know the Potluck scheduled in Hansel Iowa is cancelled

Well, just when we were starting back with our usual activities...we are now shut down. DA who bought Masons mobile tested Positive for the Virus. He works at a prison..he has not been in our hall, he was in the pool before he got tested. So we can not use the pool, or go in the lobby, or card room. We had a really fun get-to-gether on my patio one Wed. evening and someone misinterpreted the happy hour as a so called committee meeting of some kind...I guess they dont know that we have no meetings of any kind here, and did not discuss anything  going on in the park, we just all had great fellowship and good snacks.
We have been getting some wonderful little showers the last few days, our drought is over. The yards are so pretty and green.
We are having graveside services for Bobby at the RGV State Veteran's Cemetery. Monday June 29th. I had never been there before so I went out there today, it's a moving experience. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. Mark Probst will say a few words.

We had a nice gathering for Happy Hour Wed, and Friday we had our donuts and coffee. Catherine and Norman supplied the donuts.
It's a shame we can't use the big hall as social distancing would be much easier. Nathan said maybe we can use the big hall for our 4th of July get-together, but not Father's Day😡

Putting 50 amp service in the 99's and working on the little shed that will house our pkgs. that come in the mail.

We will miss All Foss who's moving to another park at the end of the month, it;s in Harlingen.

I had a card up for George Krantz, he had a surgical procedure, he's home now. Other than that no other cards up right now.

Bev and Del Telfer having us all for hot dogs on Father's Day.

Some of us playing "tic" in the evenings, Canasta, and Dummy Rummy, doing Aqua sizes and having Line Dancing (in the card room).

June 5th

Great catch you guys!
Tom Benson & Ken Barnhart, they have been getting in some great fishing trips!

Mary Lou and Tom provided the donuts this morning. Mary Lou made awesome home made coffee cake. great fellowship this morning!

I enjoy talking to our new Assistant mgrs. Joyce and Jim Sheeler. Very nice folks.

We have had quite a bit of rain but now it looks like dry weather for awhile. I would think it took us out of a drought. the grass is really growing and so nice and green!

The pool is being well taken care of by our new maintence man, Jose. I love going in the evening. Of course I like aqua sizes in the morning.

No cards to make, so that's a good thing.

More later!
