We sure have some beautiful mornings and evenings. Last night there was a nice breeze and riding around on the golf cart was really nice.

Mary Koliba is not doing well. She broke her other hip in a fall. She has been in the hospital for a week now.

Don't have any idea when work will begin on the pool and spa.

We are planning a dinner for the 4th. I think we will use the small hall as there won't be too many attend.

Thanks to Janice Williams for straightning out the books in the library. It looks so much better. Too many people bring in books they no longer want and some are not in the best shape, we don't have room for too many more books. No magazines or cookbooks as we just dont have space for them.

June 14th

Well, it's that time of year again, my Birthday, yuck! 75, now that's old....but glad I am around to celebrate it

The pool is still open, the guys have been really busy trying to keep up with all the mowing. The rains sure make the grass grow fast, about 6 days and mine needs mowed. the Mosquitos will just about carry you off. Poor Heidi gets swarmed by them on our early morning walks. I spray lots of Off on me but if I miss a spot, they get me.

There was a shooting in the WalMart parking lot Saturday, the one on Texas Blvd. they're sure being closed mouth about it, they say they are investigating it. Actually it was closer to Jacknthe  OnT.V..I saw a gun shot on the window of a car. Don't know if anyone was hurt or not.

There are some new stores in the little mall down the frontage road East of Chick Fil A. I saw a Mexican Restaurant, and a yogurt/icecream shop, and a couple other businesses, a lot of cars in their parking lot. I will have to check them out

The weather here is typical for this time of year, lows in the mid to upper 70's and highs in the mid to upper 90's, high humidity adds to the temp. bringing the heat index to triple figures
