October 13th

We have been having lows in the 70's and highs in the 90's, humidity is back also. but cooler temps on the way. Our pool has been closed again. don't know the reason but have seen guys there working on it.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the shuffleboards being resurfaced. We do not have only a hand full of shufflers and have had very few of the courts used at all. And all those larger new pads in the 99's and 50 amp service, finally.  It seems like getting everything spiffied up to sell the park. My opinion only

Janice Williams is trying to get books put away and get rid of old books in poor condition and most all of those Harlequin Romances. SHE MAKES A REQUEST, DO NOT DONATE ANY BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY! There's no room left. DO NOT BRING IN MAGAZINES OR COOKBOOKS,again, no room for them. I was in there yesterday, it's a nightmare trying to find room for what we have.

I am writing this at 11:00 p.m. I wanted to watch the first session of the Batchlorette, saw about 30 minutes of it, fell asleep until 10 p.m. now no sleep in me 😃

Sure will be interesting to see if Trump gets 4 more years. A lot of people think he will.😞

I voted early and glad to get it over with. It will be great to not see all the ads on Facebook, most all putting Trump down.  I think mainly for his poor handling of the Virus.

October 5th

We are having lovely Fall weather for the last week and more, 60's  in the mornings up to 90 in the afternoon. I miss the Fall colors. I have been in Texas permanently since 1987, and I love the mild winters, wouldn't want to live anywhere else. But would like a few months up North in the Summer.

All the parks getting ready for the Winter visitors...our palm trees were trimmed here last week, our park looks great. The pool is sparkling clean and enjoy it so much. Our new maintanence man, Daniel,  doing a good job on the pool only taking a little longer

A few cards are up for Ron  Zoeller, had a stroke, and a card for Davis Cochran, he had carotid artery problems.

Krantz has moved there mobile out of our park, They have some close friends in Leisure World where they go to Bible Study each week. They are 2 sites down from Rexroads. Love the location of our park so much. And our Park really looks so nice.

Gibbs are here now and Norman said he went to Mexico the other day and it took a long time to get in, lots of week-end visitors I expect. Coming out there were 2 lines open and no problem.

Not a whole lot going on here. Everyone wearing masks in the stores and social distancing everywhere

So tired of all that
