Marge and Rex Rexroad supplied donuts this morning. I counted 18 there but a few had already left.

Very hot humid weather for the rest of this week and on into next week, so I guess this is what we will be dealing with...highs upper 90's lows a cool 80.

We got a very nice rain around the middle of last week about 1 1/2inches...greened up the yards and the fruit trees look so much better.

Nothing on the board of anyone needing a card so that's good.

Saturday June 24th

I emailed a few folks about Dan Hileman passing away , also Velda Lee Clement died, the same day I believe.

These two pups have been here for a couple weeks, they stay back under the shed by the dog play yard..At first they wouldn't come to anyone, now they follow whoever comes by on their early morning walk,tails a waggin! Several taking over feeding and watering them, supposed to go to a shelter soon, they will be large dogs.

We just got home yesterday afternoon from a trip to Wendover, NV. Nice get-away! It was in the 80's and low humidity. The mornings were nice and cool, like around 62. It was about a 100 when we got home and our air-con quit later that night. It got to 90 in the mobile during the night, but I had called Joe comfort Air last night and left a message, and a young man came this morning and fixed it. I couldn't believe how great the service was.

June 15th

Not much to tell ya this week! Just hot hot weather here.

There are 2 cards up to sign, one to Bonita and Mel Harper, their Son died, and a card for Karen White, knee surgery

Don't forget the Story City potluck at the Comfort Inn on July 12th. I know several are coming the night before to visit and go out to eat together. Several are encouraging you to stay the night before the potluck, for a fun time

June 9th

We had a big wind come thru about 6 days ago and I heard it was 50 mpr or so. Ripped an awning off of K-9
Not much damage otherwise. No rain.
Since then we have had highs in the upper 90's lows in the 70's.

I love to take pictures of the sunrises. This one I took a couple days ago. The moom right now is called a strawberry moon, it's a full moon, it was said that it's the time of year to pick berries!!!

This morning Ken and Cheryl Costly furnished the donuts. I think we only had 16 or 17 for coffee and donuts this morning.

There are no cards up to sign this morning.

June 1st

I love these flowers, we have several bushes of these, the yellow is also very pretty


We have had some problems here in the park, a water break over by Quails motor home, just below where you turn the the water on, there was quite a geyser for awhile. then there's a water leak beneath the floor of the laundry room, the floor all torn up and water shut off to the bathrooms for awhile, along with the laundry being closed.

We had a big turn out for the Memorial Day Dinner, we had 60 people show up! The hall was all decorated in red, white, and blue. It looked so neat.

A card up for Marge Walker in #71, she's having some surgery on a knee, infection.Also a card for Gary Hejlik, he's in the hospital.

We've had some nice rains, grass is really looking green, and I am sure the fruit trees are liking it.

A picture of where Bosch's mobile was, I hope we get a nice new one there, a great corner lot for someone!
