It won't be long and the migration will begin!
All the parks are getting spiffied up for the return of the winter visiters.

We provided donuts this morning. 
The lobby (office area) is still getting a makeover, I can't wait to put in a picture of the finished project. It's going to be really nice.
We have had good rains this week, 2 1/2 inches the other day and we had a very big downpour this afternoon. Looking for more rain after the weekend.
No new cards up so that's a good thing!

Sept. 22nd

The work goes on here in the park!! So many improvements this summer. Our men have really put in some hard hours. I can't say enough about them.
This picture is of the front of our Office as you can see. Note the  awning has been extended, going across. It really looks nice. Click on the picture to get a better view.

The lobby is also getting remodeled, what a big change going on there,  I may wait to take some pictures when they are through in there.

Wednesday at our Happy Hour we had a big group! Carmen brought ice cream and birthday cake in honor of her Mom, Doris's 92nd birthday. Doris just got in and is glad to be back.

We are hoping Hector is improving and will get back to good health soon.

Friday September 15th

Wayne Carter's wife , Kay has passed away Sept. 9th , they were from Waco,TX, recently  moved to Hideaway, TX.  Kay  has been fighting Cancer for some time.
We also have heard from Charlotte Therrien that Hector had Cardiac Arrest, and was flown to Kitchner by Air ambulance. We are waiting for news about him.
Sandy Green had hip surgery, and Janie Williams, knee surgery, Nancy Argo in the hospital and trying to get her heart back in rhythum by shocking it and had to do it several times.

For our Wednesday get-to-gether this week we had grilled hotdogs, here's Ken and George putting them on, they were very tasty, we all brought a side dish to go with them.Click on the picture to

We are having hot weather again!  It was so pleasant with cool mornings and low humidity for several days but  we know cool days are ahead...when  I don't know. today humidity to be 84% and over 90 and at football time still 90, those poor football players! I guess they're used to it.

Hoorah! Our Air con bill will be going down!!!!

A very good morning to you all!   We are finally starting to cool off down here!!
75 this morning with a high of 82, and tomarrow a low of 67, and Friday 65,  we will need a jacket in the morning forsure!!

It is June Clement's 65th Birthday today!

Our Daughter Debra and her husband, Bob, bought no.96. I don't know when they will be moving in, they're in the R.V. section right now.

A card up for tom Benson, he had hernia surgery.

I am back going to T.O.P.S. Which stands for take off pounds sensibly, a fun support group, we meet every Thursday morning at the Library in Donna, anyone interested, come join us. Men welcome also

Still very hot down here. But, there's supposed to be a cold front coming, it may get down to 85, what a relief that will be.
