Hello everyone

We had one heck of a thunder and lighning storm last night  and early this morning. Some wind but no damage that I heard of here in our area. Just lots and lots of rain, which we needed, but not all at once!!!

Last Friday Sue and Ken furnished the donuts, very small crowd, Sat. we had one table for "Dummy Rummy"  

BTY the park has gotten most of the potholes taken care of. 

We are sure getting  quite a few more businesses here in Weslaco, as I mentioned before. I sure love Mr Gaetty's pizza, located where Luby's was. Been there 3 times already.!!!

My computer is sick so I am using a back up computer, My old one may not be fixable. 

 Just a note as there's not much news to talk about. Just hot  weather continuing. The weatherman said no change for the next 10 days , no rain, and we could sure use rain. 

Dick Gibson in the hospital again, ambulance took him a few days ago. 

Kathy Cochran is to have knee surgery.

I missed going to Friday coffee and donuts and was told several new folks were there. It was decided we would have Wednesday happy hour, so looking forward to that. We did have a table for "dummy rummy" Saturday and played "tic" last night. 

The pool looks so inviting, but with my broken humorous I am a little leery of trying to go in with one arm. I fell on my right side on my puppys toy and broke my arm about 2 inches below my shoulder, so therapy and time  will hopefully heal my shoulder and get it moving again.

This is the quietist Summer I have ever seen in the 30 years I have been in the park.
