 We had a good turnout for our Father's Day Potluck. Sue read about the first Father's Day and Bev said grace. We had delicious chicken legs! Ken cooked them and we all brought a dish to share. We had a couple new folks and all the food was so good! Planning a 4th of July potluck also with hot dogs furnished.

 A lot of road patching going on. Strips of concrete where the roads were so bad. 

My 2 friends  (who have Birthdays the same days as mine) all went out to lunch Friday.Mr. Gattis!

Also had a BBQ rib dinner in McAllen at LoneStar BBQ with home made peach cobbler with home made icecream. Was that ever good!!! It's located on North 10th street. 

There was a "Tic" game last night and April came. She just had a new knee put in recently

 I have had to make quite a few cards the last week or two. Yvonne Schurman passed away, Former residents,Verlyn Westrum, and  Ann Thorpe died. Diana Bruce just passed away on the 10th

Also made cards for April Walling, knee surgery. Marylyn Mason knee surgery and Dave Johnson hip replacement.

Happy hour has been well attended, but Friday Donuts and Coffee have not been. 

The park looks so nice and the pool is sparkling clean, thanks to Juan and Juan has taught a new man to clean the pool. The only thing is they take a long time and still working on it close to 8:30 or later.
