the Wedding

Kay Gibson did a fantastic job decorating our hall for the wedding. There were darling little churches and little bouguets of flowers on 10 - 12 tables and a lovely large arrangement on the stage. All the tables had pretty table covers and I helped a little...We made up huge trays of deli meats and cheeses, chips pickles, vegy's, and Del and Bev had a huge cake with a cute bingo card and bridal sillouette stuck on the cakes (I dont know where those came from...) someone who has way too much time on their hands lol. They met at bingo so Bev asked me to make something up suitable for the cake. They were cute. Also Kay had lovely flower arrangements on the serving tables and on the cake table. I personally didn't take a whole lot of pictures as her children were taking many snapshots of folks who attended and at the Church etc. Bev's Daughter was her bridesmaid and Del's Son was his attendent.the wedding was fun and when Del went to say his vows the preacher stopped him and said "Del speak up" the people can't here ya! Now lets start over...and everyone laughed. Then when the minister asked for the rings from Dels son, he acted like he had forgot them but soon found them..it was so funny. there must have been 160 or more at the Church and then everyone came to our park for the resception and dance.
Fred Goldsberry played music. a great time was had by all. I know the whole park was there and many from Del's park and from the Church were there.
