MANAGEMENT REPORT Helen wished all a safe trip back home, also besure to let the office know when you are leaving, because of the mail , She also said the Wi-fi situation is in Scotts hands, some folks wandering if they paid by the year if they could get a 5% discount, but the Owners will not go along with that. Walter was here and said he was praying for bad weather up North so people would pay for another month and stay down here! Helen is helping make brochures to give out to folks to show others about our park and encourage them to spend the Winters here in our beautiful park!Website for park is riovalleyestates.com. Ron Zoeller, properties committee, The griddles are in and are being primed for use. Talk about covers for them.Walter has said he would go halves on these. RVE Club Board is at Monday meetings prior to business session. Address concerns to them. Board members are Properties – Clyde Read, Dave Cochran, Ron Zoeller; Finance – Mary Lantis, John Geer, John Norris. New board takes over Oct. 1. They are: properties – Clyde Read; finance – Charlotte Therrien.
Irene Quail (#49) places cards to be signed by residents in office area. Call 704-516-5360 if you know of someone needing card due to illness or death of family member. This week cards made or sent:
Joan Coakley, heart problems, a card for Loren Paczkowski, having tests and has some serious health issues. Anita Farley is in re-hab and Phyllis Mosby is to be home Tuesday.

Ron Talbert is having a dinner to thank all who helped with the dances this year, he said it was to be at their house but do to the weather it will be in the Hall.
Ron also talked about a Senior Softball League that some from Ranchero want to start for next Season, so you may want to bring your catchers mitt next Fall!!

If any of you have activities in your state up north & wish it published in newsletter, give editor a note. So far, these are the ones we've heard of:

Iowa Campout – Aug. 3-10 at SkipAway Campground, Clermont. Make your own reservations by calling Terry at 563-423-7338, be sure to mention this is the “Benson” group so you will be camping in that area with our group.
Free hearing tests were held before and after the meeting today. The gentleman from Clear Design Hearing spoke about the tests.
Marge Rexroad Wants $500.00 to put in cupboards in the card room to hide a lot of the mess back there, she had talked to Walter and he agreed to help with the cost, and it was voted that the $500.00 be given for this, Robert Norby has said he would make them and install them free of charge.

How about a drive to Ontario, CA for the 50th anniversary celebration honoring Hector & Charlotte Therrien? All are invited for the party August 29! No gifts.
Last year we listed a get-together in Minnesota, one in Missouri .. can someone give us info on these? How about Illinois?

There is already a sign-up sheet on back board if you will be celebrating a special wedding anniversary next season. This year's honorees chair next season's party.
A librarian will be needed for months of April through October says Kay Henriksen #263 (give to Mary Lou).
Come to Friendship Hall 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday for Happy Hour, a chance to visit with your friends. Music for dancing if you wish. Bring snack to share.

Judi DeKoning keeps our calendar up-to-date, so requests activity chairs take a look at list, back of Friendship Hall, report changes to her. Let office staff know if you are chairing an event as often someone stops there to ask. Judi & Mary Lou have been working together to get these dates & chairpersons compiled before leaving this spring. If you see a “spot” missing or incorrect please let one of these gals know .. #67 or #103.
