O.k. Rio Valley folks. This is Not my regular post Amos got sick today so took him to the vet he has been diagnosed with parvo. He is in the animal hospital f I don't take him out of the park so he has caught it here. So please watch your dogs as it is very contiguous. Please be sure all shots are up to date. Also please pick up after your dogs as can be transmitted that way which of course also means dog park as well. We don't know how long Amos will be gone he has had several shots and a catheter for antibodies . The vet said possibly up to 4 days. She said so many people here in the Valley don't get shots for their pets so parvo is very is a Seriouse problem. SO PRAYERS FOR MY LITTLE MAN.
Also remember there's stray dogs in here all the time. Who knows if they were ever vaccinated
