The kitchen curtains were installed, rope lights to be installed this week, a new cup dispenser in the card room put in.

MANAGEMENT REPORT: Managerr Craig said pool problems started Friday but fixed today!

Our owner Walter Piper stopped by, He has been to many of our fun activities and said he was sorry to miss Western Days, but his Daughter will be here to represent him! Walter said “Enjoy life and have fun”

Peter Piper Pizza this Wednesday, the 13th 11:30, free pop and icecream, great prizes!!

Sandy Olson thanked Sandy VanPatton for helping chair the Anniversary party, Sunday, Sandy Van Patton thanked all the honorees and guests for coming.

Brock Laing announced The Williamson Branch will entertain, Friday, a Nashville based, a high steppin' show featuring a fine-tuned variety of bluegrass, gospel, and country music, accentuated by world class Appalacian clogging

Come for potluck 4:45 p.m. prior to Friday entertainment with Mary Nelson & Red Tyler chairing. By re-arranging seating & starting a few minutes earlier, this allows more time for Brock to set up for entertainment.

Monday Night Dance is tonight with Country Roland Jr. $7 pp, 7-9:30. Craig & Dana Daves chair. Residents should stay away from hall noon to 3 p.m. for crew set up & floor cleaning. Craig requests we avoid outside behind big hall where he sets up orange cones to assist bands in unloading their equipment.

Helen Curtis asks you to call 603-674-3869, when you know of someone needing card due to illness/death in family. Cards to sign are in office area. If you call Helen, leave message & name. She will return calls if she knows who called. Cards this week are for: Bonnie Cassidy on loss of husband, Tom, a card to Judy DeKoning, loss of her Brother, Tom. A card to Mary Cristianson, now in in-house rehab. Also a card for Phllyis Mosby, and Kitty Oster, both have fallen, a card to Rachel Morales, now in a nursing home, a card going up for the Family of Art Bloom, former Pastor , passed away.

Plan to enjoy breakfast of biscuits & gravy plus eggs for 4 weeks beginning Feb. 16…served by club board, $3 pp.

Rex Rexroad has been working with Brock & Adrienne Laing for at least 5 yrs. The Laings have done so much for Rio Valley Estates & have refused to accept anything as a thank you. The Lord has called Brock as leader of a growing church in Canada. If you would like to benefit this church, you may give any donations to Brock or Rex. Donation container will be available at the Laing Farewell Party Feb, 1, with Brock as courier. As Rex said, “Church is in Canada but it drifts down.” God’s blessings to Brock & Adrienne on this new venture!

You may purchase $5 pp tickets for the Feb. 13 Cancer Tea until next Monday. This year’s theme is “Lots of Love”. Chair is Dianna Bruce. Time is 10:30 a.m. Sign your tickets for prizes Bring tea cup & saucer for exchange. There are raffles with tickets being sold for those items. Donate toys, etc. for Children’s Hospital to be delivered on Valentine’s Day.

Stroke Prevention here this morning meeting. Tests are done on Feb. 19..appointment is necessary..

Kathy Cochran chairs the Old West Party Feb. 21; tickets at $10 pp are being sold. Ticket comes with meal of pulled pork, cowboy beans, dessert. Table covers will be provided. Prizes will be given for best table decorations. Bring your own drinks & table service. Fred Goldsberry entertains. Doors will open at 5, plan to eat at 5:30.

Veteran’s Dinner is scheduled for Feb. 28 with Linda Palermo as chair. Menu: Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Salad, Dessert. $10 pp tickets on sale next week. All veterans & surviving spouses may attend. Proceeds go to Camp Chorale which is camp for children of service folks injured or killed. Speaker is a 97 yr. old veteran with a fascinating story. A beautiful patriotic quilt made by Marge Rexroad will be raffled. There will be 50-50 tickets, $1 ea./ 6/$5 or $10 for strip of tickets as long as your arms. Chance on the quilt is $5.00

Ed & Charilyn Hover chair the Iowa potluck dinner in Friendship Hall March 6, noon. Could use 2 couples to help .. donations of door prizes welcome.

Pat Printy chairs ROPA Style Show March 14, 1 p.m. If you have anything you would like to model from ROPA, thrift store, Good Will, wherever, see sign up sheets.

Plan to attend March 16 Corn Beef & Cabbage dinner chaired by Gonnermans. $10 pp tickets sales end March 4.
