town Crier

Hey we made the front page of the Town Crier!! Andrielle from the Town Crier came over last Wed. and interviewed Mary Lou and I about all our Mobile Home Quilts and took a tour around the park. She was told how the very first barn quilt was made in Ohio in 2005 and how many other States have started painting quilt blocks on their barns or cribs. Also many businesses are putting up smaller versions in front of their buildings, also in front of public buildings, libraries, churches, and private homes as well. I have gone on line and just typed in barn quilts and many sites come up showing off their quilt squares painted on their residences and businesses and on the farm buildings throughout Iowa and Ohio and several other States.
anyway Rio Valley can boast of being the first park to do quilt squares in front or on their units.
