Darlene Gowery

Darlene Gowery and husband Darrel lived here in R.V.E. for years.I think they came in 1994. they were here over 12 years. Their Daughter Kim and Husband Alan Rainbolt live at #18 and teach school here. We didn't know about Darlene's passing until the Rainbolt's got back down here for the start of the new school year. Darlene was the Greeter at Wal-Mart for years and was awarded greeter of the Year, she always had a big smile for you and a hug. So many many local folks looked forward to a hug and smile from Darlene when they came in  to shop, and she knew so many by name.
