Weather - The Rio Grande Valley's News Channel
You can see for yourself what our weather is doing. Here in the lower Valley is just a slight chance for flooding. Possible only 1 - 3 inches of rain. It comes in waves. It's moving very fast at 18 mph. Winds are not to be a problem for us in the Valley. 10 mph on the average and gusts up to 50mph
Just looked to see how many hits to my blog last month 1713, I wish I could see who all does view the blog.
A big shout out to Aileen Mittleberg, I understand she enjoys reading the blog and hope they are doing ok. I have her "secret" recipe for her Beanbarn Cornbread!!! It is really good with a pot of ham and beans !!!! remember they had the little place at the Flea Market and served the beans and cornbread. Also later had the popcorn and remembering how we got to have some of that here in the park left after the flea market.
Let me know if you have left the park and still read the blog, you may comment here. It will be interesting to see who all reads the blog yet.
I have been thinking of selling my mobile, too much outside work, along the mobile, 61 feet of flower beds and in the back where the orange tree was and also where the grapefruit tree was are about 3 foot squares around the tree stumps with plants growing, but mostly weeds! Also along the mobile were a lot of "Pentas" which were beautiful until the terrible heat which started over 2 months, they looked sick, and weedy so I found a great lawn care man to take all of the flower beds out and also on the patio and put plastic down and white rocks, no more flower beds! His name is Diego and he came with his wife at 8:a.m. and they left at 5:00 p.m. worked continually in the 100 degree temps, he does a lot of work in the parks especially 1015 park. there was a sink outside to wash up in before you come in and I had him take that out and cap the water pipe to it. He is reasonable folks, so if you want all the weeding done before you get here or after, I can give you his cell no. Btw his wife worked just as hard as he did!

I enjoy reading your blog. It’s a great way to keep up with people. Even though I’m no longer in the park, I still enjoy it.😊
We read and enjoy all your news in and around the park. Keep it up! Stay well and we’ll see you before long. Colette & Rich Mason
Agnes Messner, I still read your blog. I find it very interesting and a great way to keep up with what’s happening. Hope you can keep doing so. Thanks Donna.
I read your blog all the time as I like to keep up with what is going on at the park. Then I relay the information to Lu Scott as her eyesight does not let her read on the computer anymore. Keep up the good work. LeRoy.
