Mark Probst reported for Properties saying the ice machine problems have been a nightmare, even worse than that. It is not working again & repairman could not come until today. Machine was purchased in 2018 with a 3 year warranty, now expired. Warranty meant they would come twice a year for preventive maintenance & to replace filters. He said we may wish to check into leasing a machine rather than owning it. More info on this next week. Mark is taking recycling items only once a week now. Maxine Topel says new vacuum cleaner has arrived and is locked in cabinet.

TY to Patty Lamp & Phyllis Branstetter who served coffee & donuts today. There is a signup sheet if you wish to provide donuts in honor of a special occasion. Give your name to Sandy Olson & your name will be announced. If no one signs up, club pays the $30 cost. Bring donuts by 8:15 a.m.

Editor’s Comment .. “Some folks even switch from left handed to right handed to improve their game!”

Hopefully I’ve learned ..

On a positive note, I’ve learned you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, & tangled Christmas tree lights.

Regardless of your relationship with your parents, you’ll miss them when they’re gone from your life.

If you pursue happiness, it will elude you. If you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work & doing the very best you can .. happiness will find you.

Whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
