Nov. 28th

We just got home from Wendover, NV. It was a cold 35 degrees when we left. I have finally warmed up. We get off the plane on an outside ramp and walk into the airport. What a blast of cold air!  17 degrees that evening, windy too! Got to see it snow, it looked pretty on the Mountains surrounding the town.
Carla Wahlers passed away. Her husband "Coke" had passed away around 5 years ago. Many of us remember them fondly. They lived in Webster City , IA.  It may  have been more than 10 years since they were here. Not sure about that.

Treasurer Gordon Amos gave his report & it was approved. Properties chair Ron Zoeller asks anyone who takes ice from machine to NOT use anything (cups, hands, etc) except scoop provided. This is for sanitary reasons. We talked about ordering new COMMERCIAL roasters for kitchen & voted to purchase 3 at this time. Ron said card room is a mess. They have done some sorting, take a look to see if you want items, what’s left will be tossed.
