Happy 4th to you all!

We had Bobby's service Monday, the VFW post 8788 from McAllen did a beautiful full military service over 20 there and many saying how nice and moving it was. Mark Prohst gave a nice message. We were very lucky as a few weeks before, the cemetery did not allow the services because of the Virus, but had just started to allow them, and was told they may have to shut them down again.
In this picture you can see they do not do an actual graveside service but is in this neat shelter like building. It was very nice. We practiced social distancing and wore our masks and some stood in the back for the service.

I have a few cards We are signing one for Paul and Sharon Sprague, her Sister, Pam, passed away. and a card for the Family of Prudencia Garza lot #241 she passed away.

We had a big rain last week and now hot hot weather and windy, tomarrow it's supposed to be less wind but still hot. Lows around 80 highs 90's to close to 100.

I see the young man Jose,(just hired) and another man out digging in the 99's. I guess for 50 amp service. Jesse will be leaving, I heard the mgmnt wants younger guys to work....

I wished I had more news for ya but when you don't get told anything then you have no idea what's happening here. Wandering if they're going to replace the carpet in the card room, needs it so bad...cleaning is not going to help it. Wandering when the pool will reopen...amoung other things,
Lobby only open a couple hours in the morning.
